i know they don't really consider it as part of the sat i. but i know some schools consider it like a sat subject test. is this true of northwestern? can one's score on the writing section help you (or hurt you) at all? i just hope they consider it a little cuz i got an 800 and it's my highest score across all my sat tests (both the sat i and the sat ii's). :-/ i know an 800 in a sat ii is considered really good, so that would definitely help me if they at least consider it like that.

AFIK, NU only uses the reading and math portions of the SAT (out of 1400) for admissions.

so they don’t even look at the writing at all, is what you’re saying? ok thanks for the info. :(
