Writing practice test score

I do writing sections (mc) everyday. I keep getting the same score despite revising each question. My score never improves. There is nothing to study as i know everything needed for the writing SAT. Usually while I'm correcting I'll will be "oooh yeh now i remember" and etc.

Can anyone offer me advice or tips on identifying sentence error and improving sentences?

Your fundamentals are weak. I would suggest revisiting grammar rules. You claim that you know everything required, but if you are still getting questions wrong, then you clearly do not. I started with a 60/80 on PSAT writing sophomore year and got an 800 78 w/ 12 on the SATs on the January SAT of junior year. I did consistently make the same mistakes, but it was because I never truly mastered certain rules. Mastery of a writing rule is not just memorizing it. Practicing the rule and knowing common ways in which it can be used incorrectly are just as important. I think you probably aren’t doing the latter. The SAT tests maybe 15 grammar rules. I suggest truly understanding them rather than just memorizing them. The only rules I would recommend you memorize are idioms. Idioms are more stylistic preference errors than actual diction errors. Generally my only errors are those that deal with proper idiom usage. I hope I helped (I was trying to be as honest as possible).

Oh, the irony.

my bad. we all make mistakes. that’s why i still got one wrong.
