Writing Question - Must Know

The influences of Roman architecture is perhaps even more marked in the US than
a) in either Europe or in Asia
b) in either Europe or Asia

Either + Or is used correctly in both

How should I handle these types of questions/what is the correct answer?

Its B i believe because I do not think you need that second "in"

parallelism. the question used "or in the Us" so your answer must have "or in" as well, to match it. A.

^ is wrong. its definetely A, i studied 3 prep books and i know my writing.

Ya he's right I', wrong, i have always struggled with parallelism

yeah its A. that is correct

@ndguy, you've been studying the wrong thing then, because it's B and will always be B on the SAT ٩(๏̯͡๏)۶

it is B.
[Either IN A or IN B]
[IN either A or B ]

remember parallelism.
either [noun] or [noun] <- must be the same of everything

whatever is in between either and or must be after or.

Ok good, I was doubting myself. lol

Correct
Either in Europe or in Asia
in Either Europe or Asia

Incorrect
in Either Europe or in Asia
Either in Europe or Asia

it's B. Definitely B

so whats the correct answer? lol

you mighted get confused lol but, BBBBBBBB is the right answer

lol i think the consensus is B

It is B because when you have these types of sentences, the noun after "either" must be parallel with the noun after "or"?
So if it was either in Europe or in Asia and the original sentence was "more marked in the US than"?

Blahblbhabhablablbahah than in either X or Y.

(b)

lol that killed my hopes for tommrows SAT. i am still pretty sure its A, i mean parallelism right? well thats what i would put.

mdmguy - God made me post this thread and made you view it so you won't make the same mistake tomorrow.
lol

LOL that was so funny. well if its B than i am SOOO sorry for misleading me, i hate giving wrong information. lol, if this exact question was on the sats tommrow i would have to thankyou.
