Writing Questions Inside!

I was wondering what the answer is (and why) to these two Writing questions:

Because they provide realistic models for decision-making in situations involving risk and uncertainty, games like poker interest many politicians and military strategists. No error

To a degree, the past is what people have interpreted it to be; nevertheless, it is fixed, and to suppose it changeable is to be foolish indeed. No error

Thanks!

Do you know the answers, or are you just trying to make sense of it?

1st sentence: I don't think there's any error.
2nd sentence: I think "indeed' is unnecessary and a bit awkward. That's the only error I can find in the sentence.

Nope, I don't know the answer to these. I put No Error for both of them, but I'm not sure if my answers are correct.

Hm, well I'm not totally sure of my answers, so leave it up to the other forum members to either verify or disprove my answers.

Ah ok, thanks for your input!

I think both of them are no error.

Instead of "models for" it should be "models of", so B is wrong

No error (note that fully deleting a choice is not allowed, so even if indeed is wordy as long as it grammatically sound the sentence is correct)

For 1, it's sort of ambivalent, but I think "of" serves the sentence far better than "for" does.

Hm... I thought about the of/for thing for number 1, but decided to keep it as it is, because it still makes sense with the for, but I'm not 100% sure about that either =.

I agree "models for" should be changed into "models of"

"to suppose it" should be "to suppose it to be", I think

^ #2 already has to be,
my answer is 1 E and 2 E =l
where did u get this? how can u not know the answer lol

but the "to be" you are talking about has a different function, the same function as "to suppose": to suppose ... is to be foolish. what I mean is:

"... to suppose it to be changeable is to be foolish indeed."

no, you're adding extra lot of stuff, suppose it changeable is perfectly sound, to me at least.

like: i consider the flower pretty
i consider the flower to be pretty.
i'd say the former is better than the latter. im not even sure if the latter is grammatically ok lol.

Yeah definitely nothing wrong with number 2

so what are the actual answers loaded?
i won't add my input bcuz i'm confused myself- but i would like to know the answers to see if my guesses are correct
and where did u find these?

^Did you read the thread? Loaded doesn't know the answers.

Yeah, sorry guys, I don't have the answers yet =. These questions are from a packet of Writing questions from previous official SATs and PSATs that my SAT teacher gave me. I should have the answers by this Sunday, so if I do get them, I'll definitely post them up.
