Can you please post the answers to them as well? Thanks.

these are questions from a lot of tests, i don’t have the time to go back and search for each one unfortunately :(

anyone? please i am in dire need of help here lol!

1) A
2) Literally A, B, or C can be correct.
3) C
4) D - for does not serve as a coordinating conjuncture here.
5) D - the comparison that the sentence after the semi-colon introduces made me choose D over E
6) D

Wouldn’t #2 be D? You can’t use “has” with “came to be”, can you?

2 is most definitely D, the answer CAN NOT be A, B, or C.

The sentence says that she CAME to be known as. This means that the whole sentence is going to be in past tense.

Think about it. Let’s say this" “She has had” such a great influence that “she HAS come” to be known as x.

This makes perfect sense because the sentence maintains the same tense. It makes no sense to say “she has” and then later on “came”. 2 different tenses.

Thus, D is the only logical answer because it maintains the correct tense and it makes the proper “so ----> that” comparison or whatever it is.

Ah, I missed that. Thanks for pointing that out guys. Nonetheless, I don’t think these questions are particularly relevant as they don’t feel like SAT questions at all.
