Most major air pollutants cannot be seen, although large amounts (of them) (concentrated in) cities (are visible) (as) smog.
shouldn't as be 'like'? i want a clear explanation why it can't be like and why it is as..
thanks

this forum is about sat

That is SAT…?

noooooooooooo

I’m pretty sure that is error identification…

I don’t understand why “like” would fit…? o.O
Wait; are you saying that “like” is the correct answer or that “as” is the correct answer?

@mohanjadaro then what is that?
no i clearly stated that as is the correct answer but i was wondering why like can’t be the answer… i don’t know it just sounds a little weird as a whole with as… nvm. =D

‘like’ is used to describe the similarity in appearance/outlook.
‘as’ is used to describe analogy in work/function.
e.g.
Bruno looks like his father.
Ross does the work as David (does).

Hope this wards off your confusion.
