<p>For the second one, I don’t know if it’s grammatically incorrect, but choice E says it more precisely and less awkwardly than choice D.</p>

<p>in the second sentence, honestly I cant find anything wrong in D, but if you have 2 correct choices, choose the shorter one, so E is the answer</p>

<p>Yeah, I think for the second one, “all of them” is a vague pronoun as the subject is switched from “Jane Austen” to “novels” although “all of them” should be referring to Jane Austen grammatically. </p>
