<p>okay....i have passed both the english ap tests with 3s. i know ucla has writing 1 and writing 2 requirements. have i already satisfied my writing 1 requirement? or do i need to take engcomp3?</p>

<p>Getting a three on either exam will not get you credit for engcomp3. So you WILL have to take engcomp3. BUT you do get 8 units of unassigned credit.</p>

<p>Nope, you do not need to take the Writing Placement Exam if you get a 4 on either AP English Exam.</p>
