Writing Sample for BU? What is it?

<p>So there’s this one section on the commonapp under BU’s writing supplement. It says we can upload a file (additional information, writing samples or materials) under 500 KB.</p>

<p>So what do they mean by writing samples? Like do they mean a school essay you wrote that you did a good job on? </p>

<p>Sorry. I’m a little confused!
A little help would be appreciated! </p>

<p>I didn’t have that on my app last year but it’s a pretty open ended (and straight forward) prompt. It can be an essay you’re proud of or a personal piece of writing, whatever really. BU just wants to get a feel for your writing.</p>
