Writing Sample

<p>Two internships I've been considering ask for a writing sample. One of them states that they won't answer phone calls or e-mails about the sample, and I'll be calling the other place for specification. Still, could someone give me a few examples? If it helps, one of the internships is for a government office. It'll be my first.</p>

<p>Probably a policy memo, no more than 3 pages. If you haven’t ever written a policy memo, you can probably use a short writing assignment. An academic paper might not be ideal, but maybe you can use an excerpt that is a bit more concisely written.</p>
