But nobody cares anyway...

Thanks!

Ha, another $8. I'm so careless with money. But with my writing score (10), it said this:

Comments on Your Essay: Your essay showed recognition of the complexity of the issue by partially evaluating its implications. General statements in your essay were well supported with specific reasons, examples, and details.

Is this a generic statement or what about my score?

hahaha, talk about comedy.

I am going to break the standardized testing record for essays!

if the combined english/writing counted for the composite instead of the english, i would have 1 more point for the composite.

i got an 11 for the writing

Comments on Your Essay: Your essay addressed the complexity of the issue by evaluating its implications. Your essay effectively supported general statements with specific reasons, examples, and details.

but why is the writing considered not so important on ACT? Is it because it doesn't affect the composite score? or because some colleges don't really look at it (even the ones that require writing)?
btw I don't really wanna check my score.. not that curious and another $8 wasted.

Some schools don't look at it; however, if you are applying to a college that requires writing, then the score does carry some weight. Personally, I don't place too much emphasis on it because the topic is just too mundane, increasing the likelyhood essays will be hackeneyed and filled with cliches.

I don't care about the writing at all. As long as it's in double digits, I could care less.
