Writing Section

On the writing section of the SAT for the sentence corrections (Find the mistake, if no mistake put (E) no error), what is your approach to attacking them? I find them really frustrating because it's really dragging down my writing score. On a recent SAT Practice Test, I got more wrong than I did right (8 right to 10 wrong or something along those lines).

How do you guys approach those questions? Having a checklist? What do you check for first? It's frustrating that I understand the rules and can see the logic behind it after I go over them, but in the heat of the moment, I just freeze up.

How do you tackle this beast?

i scored 700 on my practice test, then i read the spraknotes guide, and last nite got 760 (only 2/79 wrong ^^) i learned english as second language, though, so i am probs more familiar with grammatical concepts than natives ^^. the 760 is because i kinda expect a 9, 10 on the essay. i´d get 800 if i scored a 11 :frowning: well, still ok :P
