When do folks who balloted find out which seminars they have been placed into?

pretty sure its monday, the 16th

The decisions came out today and it’s my fourth choice. Is it possible to attempt to get into another seminar once the add/drop period starts?

It is possible, as long as it has open spots

The whole process seems like bull though, because my first choice is still listed as having room but I got one of my lower choices. Not cool.

Plus, there are people who got my first choice that put it down as a 3rd or 4th choice. How does that happen?

i do remember people saying you should put your top 4 choices in reverse order on the ballot LOL!

got his third choice. I think he will be ok with it though. Didn’t check to see if there was room in his other choices.

First Choice :)

@malan89, LOL that is what happened to me! i got put into my fourth choice even though my first choice still has room -_-…

the ballot system works in a first-out-first-choice lottery. I guess you got picked last :(

First choice still having room is a bit odd though… maybe they dropped out lol?

i believe all FWS leave room for 1 or 2 students because of transfers and upperclassmen?

^that is probably true. lol i took the “freshman” part of FWS really seriously and didn’t realize you could take it during other semesters.

ughhh got my 2nd choice which is OK, but I really wanted my first choice, and i’m pretty sure half the people don’t give a crap about it, cause it’s supposedly pretty easy. do ppl really drop FWS’s during add/drop?

I’m hoping someone drops out (or it continues to have room), but we can’t do anything until the 24th.
