<p>Hey guys! I have a tendency to write in an eloquent style. I use quite a bit of figurative language and descriptive sentences to convey my thoughts. My parents think that my sentences sometimes drag on for too long and may frustrate the readers. They think that I should write in a more concise manner. Which style of writing would appeal better to the admissions commitee that will be reading my essays? Thanks in advance.</p>
