On ACT writing is it a waste of time to write something interesting or catching rather than plain and tastless? I am use to taking time when I write but for the sake of the grade should that be the #1 sacrafice?

SAT and ACT essays are pretty formulaic…so don’t spend a lot of time on making it sound all nice and stuff. Instead (unfortunately), length seems to determine the score a lot, so just write A LOT.

Yea, every person who has recieved either an 11 or 12 has stated you have to write at least two pages in order to get a good grade.
