<p>One writing supplement is asking for an editorial on an issue of local, national, or global importance.</p>
<p>I am an international student, and a lot of issues i'm familiar with applies only to my country. </p>
<p>Should I stick to something general? After all I'm applying to a US school and not a local university. Honestly I'd rather write about something local, but that might not be wise.</p>
