Has the Northwestern University Writing Supplement prompt come out for the 2015-2016 application season? If so, what is it? Thanks guys!
I think its the same each year unless they changed it. The Supplement is just a standard “Why NU?” essay that asks you to describe why you wish to attend and what programs within the specific school you’re applying your interested in. Be honest and just tackle it as polished as you can without getting overly superfluous and inauthentic.

It’s generally 250-300. I suggest talking to a friend that goes to NU, which is what I did.
In previous years word count has been 300 max. But the NU supplement is uploaded as a file, rather then copy/pasted into a text box, so it is possible (not necessarily recommended) to go over 300 words. I think I remember someone posting on here that their supplement was multiple pages, but the given word count is 300 words or less.
