Writing?

<p>I know very, very little about this school- i was looking for more of a city atmosphere, so never even considered it.</p>

<p>But my mother researched colleges, and wants me to apply here and to Carleton.
I'm not so sure i even have a chance at these schools, but anyways-</p>

<p>At my number one choice school, i want to major in Writing, Literature and Publishing; in the hopes of focusing on creative writing.</p>

<p>What does St. Olaf offer in terms of creative writing and/or journalism?</p>

<p>I'll be a freshman in the fall so I'm not positive, but my impression is that what you are looking for would fall under their general English major. Early on you take similar classes as everyone else and then you can choose to take classes with a focus on writing or literature or whatever. Your best bet of course is to talk to admissions counselors down there.</p>
