Wrong AP Scores? Help!!!

I just recently got my ap scores last night, and i am shocked to say the least. I received a 1. I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but I am just saying that I had a 98% in AP Human Geography, to show that I at least have SOME understanding of the class. I think that i may have made an error with my bubble sheet's portion where we had to put our information. I am also thinking that I may have used a wrong pencil, or may have accidentally slashed the portion that said "do not write here". I am just thinking of all the possibilities. I calculated using the test how many possible questions i could have gotten wrong (on mc at least) i would have gotten 35% wrong at max. I was pretty well prepared for my test. I think my frqs were pretty good. I just don't think that it was possible to get a 1! I am planning to rescore. Have any of you gotten your tests restored before? What are other possibilities that could contribute to me getting a 1?

someone please answer I’m on the verge of a nervous breakdown haha

Okay okay. I’ll answer. Here’s what you need to do:

Order your free response booklet and order a rescore.

If the score matches up, then you earned the 1. Otherwise, the score would go up if there was a mistake. Definately do it if you feel extremely confident, like you are now. There are a variety of variables that could contribute to the 1, but it would be impossible to list them all.

I think that as long as you felt confident on the exam, then you should feel proud. However, contact CB right away and see what’s up.

I’m sorry to say that you most likely deserved a 1.

I heard that it is VERY HARD to get a 1 on a test if you have a class. I think that I could have gotten a 3, but a 1 seems too unfathomable to me.

Maybe you could have gotten a 1. Order a rescore but your score will likely stand. :/

do colleges look at the ap score?

AP scores are self reported so no they do not know unless you send scores to them. They only really matter for credit.

Hey it happens to the best of us. Don’t worry it’s not the worlds end

thanks haha
