Wrong Board...but---gpa, Just Look!

Ok, on the other boards, not many people have given me a sure answer, when you get your rank, gpa, in junior year, does it include your freshmen and sophmore years...or what? Same for senior- what does it include!!!??? Thanks!!!!

it includes everything up to that point

So, what can I do about a bad freshmen year??

Nothing .

Well...I'm a freshmen now...and so far, heres what I can tell you-

English- CP-B
1st semester- 85
2nd Semester- 82 (second semester is progress reports only)

Algebra- CP-B
1st Semester- 87
2nd Semester- 81

Global studies- CP-B
1st Semester- 82
2nd Semester- unknown at the moment

PE- 78 overall
Health- 75 overall...in and out teachers
Fresh. Focus- 96 overall

French 2- my guess is a 75-80 at the moment..but unsure
Physical Science- um, its about a 92-95

so has that ruined all chances of good schlorships, colleges, GPA, rank etc?

Colleges really don't care about your freshman year.

As long as you show an upward trend throughout your high school years, you should be fine.

As for your class rank...
Yes, it will hurt you.

So..it will hurt my junior class rank...if I kept a steady 3.5-4.0 gpa next year...where do you see me, I guess is the question?

I can't tell you. I don't know the students at your school, how your school calculates GPA, the difficulty of the school, etc.

All you can do is work hard for the rest of your high school career.

Well- thanks..you pretty much answered all my questions. Thanks again.

No problem.
And good luck for your attempt at (I'm just guessing here) Yale.
