<p>I know someone who ended an essay with "and that's why I want to go to XXXXX" where XXXXX is the wrong school of course. They still got admitted. Of course that can never be a good thing.</p>
<p>So I got an email back from NU saying that they'll put my fixed essay and a note saying that my online-submitted essay is an incorrect version in my admission folder.
We'll see how this goes. Honestly I'm not too concerned about it anymore. haaha</p>

<p>Don't worry. If the whole essay is uniquely all about Northwestern, then one line with the word "Penn" in it wouldn't hurt you too much. </p>
<p>And there's still a chance that the adcom may miss it.</p>
<p>I wrote MIT in my princeton essay, no chance that 5 adcoms will miss it, its written in capitals! Last line...reckon I should call them?</p>
