Wrong Extracurricular Activity

Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting on CC so bear with me. I am a high school senior and I submitted my UC app about a week ago. On that UC app I listed myself as an officer for a club that was about to get ratified by our admin. I just found it didn’t solely because the to-be president of said club didn’t go to the ratification meeting.

Now, I am TERRIFIED of being that unlucky 5-10% that might get their applications audited. Is it a high chance that my app will be rescinded for this error? I’ve talked with the “president” of the club and he said he’ll just hold meetings outside of the school. Can I still use that to explain my officership?

I stated I was president of a club that was passed at my school but then rejected because of budget cuts. I am currently trying to combine it with a club that I am already president of, but I put in my app that I am currently in the process of founding it. But right now I’m also wondering, how would an admissions rep even be able to tell whether or not the club really does exist?
