Wrong GPA score on CSU Application

So my counselor gave me the wrong GPA I think for my application for Cal state university apps, and should I get that fixed asap or will the admissions people end up recalculating it themselves when they get my transcript ? Please somebody answer I don’t want this to be the factor that declines me away from this school. :frowning: :frowning: I put my overall weighted GPA which is 4.7 which is too high. I think it was supposed to be on a 4.0 scale on the app but there was no restriction on what you could put so I clicked save and continue. :frowning:

Go talk to your guidance counselor and/or registrar. If they made a mistake, they need to fix it and to notify the schools of the error. If YOU made a mistake, then ask them what you need to do to fix this. I’m under the impression that the CA state schools calculate their own GPAs (omitting 9th grade and ‘soft’ subjects), but you need to get this verified by someone who knows CA state schools and if you are CA, that should be your GC.

Thank you. I asked and they said I put the correct 1 so I should be A okay.
