My guidance counselor misinformed me of my UC/CSU GPA, which I then mistakenly reported on my application and sent. The confusion stems from the fact I was currently retaking a class, which caused trouble. Does it really matter?

I am trying to visualize what you are talking about…you listed a class twice–put in the original grade, and then put “in process”…or…did not not list the class you dropped/failed and only put in the class for this year?..When filling out your application, have a copy of your transcript to refer to, so as to avoid this mistake in the future. For this scenario, I would go back to your counselor, and ask their advice. It may require their intervention your behalf, or they could provide reassurance that it does not really matter.
G’Luck! APOL-a mom

well cal poly knows that the GPA usually gets screwed up so they end up recalculating it later but how much is the difference by? And if you do want to change it the deadline for ED applications is november 15th. but honestly if the difference isnt huge i dont think it matters much

It’s okay. Since Cal Poly adds your 9th grades into your gpa as well, they recalculate the gpa.
