Wrong Grade Scale entered

<p>Hi, My school counselor sent an email yesterday that our school grade scale is 4.0, but I did not know that earlier and had entered 5.0 as my grade scale in common app and had submitted to colleges. Would you recommend writing to those colleges about this? Will they get annoyed if I do ? Would it affect me negatively? Or since it is in my transcript, should I just not do anything? Please advise. </p>
