Wrong grade

Hey, I've just recieved my grade from my MIMG 12 midterm. I know for a fact that I did a whole lot better than the grade that's indicated on my ucla (80/125). The exam was very easy in my opinion (expecting an A) and I know for a fact that my answers were right as I checked the course reader and the answers matched the ones I put down once I left the room. Do professors or TAs sometime record the wrong grade?
I sent the prof. an email asking him if I can see the scantron and the exam (I circled my answers on the exam just in case something goes wrong). Is this the right move?

Yes. Definitely do a follow-up if you feel that strongly. Mistakes are made.

Could your cirles screw up the scoring?

I don't think so. The only reason I can think of is that they misrecorded my score since there's so many people in the class.

I recieved an A in LS1 last quarter and to not be able to even break the 70% in this class just doesn't feel right since this class is designed for non science major. Something just doesn't add up. I double checked my answers and scranton too

Hopefully he will pass back the exams this tomorrow. Well if its not a mistake, change it to p/np. Tomorrow is the last day to do it.

There must be a regrade policy; take advantage of that.

Thanks for all of your input. It was simply just recorded wrong on my ucla. I received the grade I thought I was going to get when I turned in the exam. It's been fix. I do have to admit, I was quite worry since today's the last day to make it P/F.

glad it got cleared up! :)
