So, this is gonna make me sound kind of dumb, but here we go. I’m a homeschooled student, and I took the SAT today. When I registered, I didn’t realize how to select “schooled at home” and instead said that I go to my local high school. I now realize how to register as a homeschooler, but by the time I realized (Thursday night) it was too late to change. I contacted the College Board on Friday and explained the situation, and they just said that the scores will be sent to the high school and that it shouldn’t be a problem. I’m a super paranoid person, so I’m kind of worried that the school is gonna come at me and ask why I said I go there when I don’t, or have something worse happen. Am I worried about nothing, or should I attempt to contact the college board again? Or something else?
You will get your scores directly. THE HS will probably ignore them. BUT if you wish to contact them, send an email to the guidance office and tell them that owing to an administrative error at your end, they’ll be receiving a copy of your scores and there is no action for them to take with them.
