Wrong Name on High School Transcript

I'm thinking I may be the only person in the world with this problem, but here goes...
In high school I was registered under my foster parents' last name, even though it’s not my legal name. Now that I'm finally applying to a four-year institution as a transfer student I've fixed the discrepancy on the transcript, so that my legal last name is the one on the transcript. However, it looks like what the registrar did was simply cross out the wrong last name (foster parents' last name) and print out my legal surname along with the notation "name change 01/25/13" right above the wrong/crossed out name. It looks funny and I'm worried it might raise suspicions with the admissions folks and how that might affect my chances for admission.

Any ideas on how to address this problem in the Common App (under "Additional Information")?

State something like this: I was registered on my High School transcript under the last name of my foster parents at the time. This year I requested a correction to my legal surname, XXXXXX.

I don’t think they will question it or that it will affect your admissions chances.

One note, the transcript that you send colleges should be official (in a sealed envelope with the HS name signed/stamped across the seal); otherwise they might question that you crossed out the name and made the change yourself.
