I'm currently a rising senior. So far, I've taken 8 AP classes and will take 5 next year:

AP Chem
AP Eng 4
AP Macro
AP Govt
AP Calc AB

I decided to give myself a break and take Honors French I for fun, because I've already completed 4 years of Spanish (taken AP 4).

Is this a stupid decision? Or should I just take AP Euro, which my school is offering for the first time next year?

The decision shouldn’t be based on whether it would look better on transcripts, because 13 is a good number of AP courses, but what do you like more? Do you enjoy history/social studies or languages?

Take French I based on interest. As long as you take the same number of AP courses you did your junior year, I don’t think it’s an issue with colleges. They just don’t want you take easy courses your senior year.
