I accidentally put my academic core gpa of 3.86 instead of my cumulative gpa of 3.54. I emailed admissions though so
should this be a problem?
Not a problem. They will use the actual grades and schedule from your transcript.
You did the right thing in notifying them. It won’t be held against you and most universities re-compute the GPA anyway with their own system
I did the same exact thing. I called admissions and they said not to worry about it. They recalculate your GPA and the GPA that you put on your application is used for statistical purposes only.
