I realized after the test that i wrote the DBQ and FRQ essays in pencil.
Is there a possibility that the essay graders will still score my essays?

As long as its legible and dark enough.
All the essays being graded are scanned onto a computer so it doesn’t matter

Alright, Thanks for the heads up

Why does this happen to AP students every year… it clearly tells you to use a dark blue/black ink pen for the FRQs, an instruction that is then repeated by the proctor.

The whole point of you writing the FRQs in ink is so that your writing can be clearly picked up and scanned by a computer scanner. For the most part people seem to end up with no issues, though you might want to use the search function and look through past threads to see what happened to other pencil heads.

Well some of the more math oriented AP exams let you use a pencil if you want, so it can get confusing.

DD pen ran out mid test. Proctor said it was ok to finish with pencil.

Do they grade the uploaded copy or the physical one? Also, the AP English Language & Comp test said we could cross out mistakes and write in corrections if needed. Does this also apply to the APUSH test?

Yes it applies to every AP test ActingDude
