The first two and a half years of school I withdrew from a lot of courses, I mean a LOT (apx. 13) Various reasons (family deaths, abusive relationships, having to work to support others, etc.), but I don't deny that I screwed up. I was at community college then, had no clue what I wanted to do, so I just signed up for courses and when something big came up, it was easy to say goodbye and turn my focus. I then, through work, learned what I wanted to do with my life. I transferred to a good state school (got in because of a high GPA) and since then I've had 4, going on 5, consecutive semesters of 15+ credit semesters each, gaining a 4.0 bringing my cumulative GPA to 3.87. I have have quite a bit of work experience in the field I'm going into (healthcare - Physician Assistant Program), 1360 GRE, volunteer experience, etc. I'm not trying to get into a top school, just any decent PA program, but I know they are all very competitive. I screwed up my first two years and I'm wondering if you think they will look past that and see my improvement. Or what else can I do to improve my chances?
