<p>I don't know whether I should be stressing out about this, but i am!
3.5 GPA at East L.A city college
i have gotten 2 w's :English 103 << I'm retaking this upcoming spring & chem 101.
I'm thinking about dropping statistics next week ( i didn't want to result to this, but my professor is just ridiculous) ..so it will be my 3rd W.</p>

<p>I really want to apply to UCSB next coming Fall 2011..as a Economic accounting Major.
They note that i have to at least pass stats with a C or better!</p>

<p>After this summer, During fall 2011 I will only need two more classes to fulfill my itgetc + Calculus (could of been done with this, but stupid CC requires us to take a CSU Trig class which is BS!) Econ 2, and Statistics. </p>

<p>Q:^ Since I plan on taking Cal 1, Econ 2, and a GE class during fall 2010, is it okay for me to take Statistics during the winter, which is after the tag filing application date?</p>

<p>Q: Will 3 W's affect my chances greatly? </p>

Does this mean that I must fulfill these classes before I apply to tag? Or will I have until the end of spring 2011 to complete these pre-major requirements?</p>

<p>Yer fine but work hard this year, get english done and go to sbcc f/t this fall. Trust me if want in as soon as u can.</p>

<p>UC’s never care about W’s. I heard directly from a UC Berkeley’s representative that they don’t care about W’s. So don’t worry.</p>

<p>Ye they just redline them but count as attempted still. Ucsb wants both econs plus ld and/or ud int micro there.</p>

<p>They also like a year of calc or account and/or year of civ or lit so ur well rounded not fat or lazy or anything. Keep above 3.5 no lower than 3.4. Trig and college algebra are normal pre calc reqs if dont test out.</p>
