I am not sure if i was qualified… but I got accepted to Georgia Tech as a freshman and have to take summer session, so I probably can’t go anyway even if I do get accepted :/</p>

Actually, I was accepted to WTP-EECS but I am going to YSP instead. Hopefully you’re next on the waitlist!
Good luck to you! And don’t forget that there’s plenty of other activities for the summer that are much cheaper and maybe even more interesting than structured summer programs.</p>
<p>@Lanayru: UCLA has a High School Summer Research Program in engineering, but the app is due in two days…
I’m pretty sure there’s a few other programs still open, you might want to check out some other people’s threads!
And remember, summer programs aren’t a requirement. In fact, it seems like everyone’s doing summer programs these days… A mad rush for summer programs to boost college apps, I suppose. But doing something unique might benefit your college apps even more.</p>
<p>Hi all! I’m junior (class of 2015 ftw) and I wish to apply to WTP 2014. </p>
<p>I just got my PSAT scores back and they’re not that great (209, on the borderline of National Merit in AZ). Do you guys think that the PSAT scores matter greatly? I took my first ACT and I’m hoping for at least a 35:)…will this balance my PSAT out?</p>
<p>Also, last summer I went to a camp where I was introduced to engineering (although I haven’t taken comp. sci. or course like that at my school). Will WTP not accept this cuz they want people who have no engineering experience? </p>
