When you applied what did you put as your preference between EECS or ME? Right now I have no preference because I’m honestly not sure which one, but I’m afraid that might hurt my application.
I put “prefer EECS”. Take a look at the website and see which curriculum interests you! @charykit1
Also, if you have CS knowledge, put ME.

hey, I’m currently writing my essays and wanted to know what kind of style you used? were they straightforward and formal, or was it more of a narrative/personal? Some of the questions (hardship one) seem to warrant a personal response but I’m just not sure
Mine were pretty funny, casual, and exciting because that’s what I’m actually like lol. I even had that style in my challenge essay. My biggest advice for essays is to make them sound like you. Have family members or some close friends read them. If they think it sounds just like you, that’s great. @techie123

hi, I realllyy want to go to WTP its been a goal of mine since I was a freshman. I’ve already started the application process and got teacher recommendations but now I feel like my test scores don’t stack up against everyone else and I shouldnt bother trying 
they’re competitive for my school since im a junior but I dont think anyone else would find them impressive. Do you think I could still have a chance of getting in even if I dont have amazing test scores?
@evtexia you should still try! (remember: you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take) Not everyone admitted had high test scores; even mine at the time of the application weren’t the best. Do your best on the essays and relax.

The acceptance rate last year was 60/623 (9.6%). The girls were from all over the country. @aks1118

The application is due tomorrow at midnight and I have it all done except one of my recommendations still hasn’t finished the form!! I’ve been emailing him like crazy but I don’t have school tomorrow to ask him in person. The application says I can submit it I think? Can I send the application in with one of the recommendations sent but not completed? I am seriously trying so hard to get this teacher to corporate UGH
@charykit1 i believe on the website it says that the teacher recommendations are due on the 22 which is next monday! So u can turn it in without the recommendations being completed and it should be fine
@charykit1 On the website it says that teacher recs are due Jan 22. They can send them in after you submit the application so don’t stress!
