accepted 3.9 gpa unw, 2280 single sitting, 34 ACT single sitting, and feeling very lucky because I didn’t show interest even though I have interest. Couldn’t visit by time I discovered school and didn’t interview. Great Recs and strong ECs. National Merit Commendation and National Hispanic Scholar. 3 years National scholar athlete awards. not recruitable for sport though.

Yes to above question. And to hkcl…Emory with a huge scholarship is HUGE. Great school! We loved it when we applied. Was on the top of son’s list. And certainly warmer…

@hkcll2015 This wait-list has no effect on the decisions from other schools. Still got the same chance as always.
Accepted! Was definitely not expecting that whoa. Well they definitely took a holistic approach to my application XP (2020 SAT but solid essays, recommendations, very high rank and GPA, IB program, URM…)
Congrats to those accepted and to those rejected: if you’re already applying to WUSTL, you’re probably already applying or have already gotten accepted to other amazing schools. Never lose hope

Accepted…approx 3.84 GPA unweighted and 2270 SAT for basic stats
Congratulations to all who got accepted! I’m accepted by Sam Fox School, and I have applied for financial aid in my application. In the letter I got it says that “you will receive information from Student Financial Services in a few days”. How long will it usually take for them to send us the financial aid package? Thanks!

@mhuelvis: My older son was accepted at WUSTL in 2012–financial aid info came within a couple of days, as I recall. Older son is in his junior year there and loves it. Younger son was accepted today

Stats:
His high school does not give out GPAs, but he is probably in the top 10-15 percentile of his class.
2250 SAT. 720 SAT Math, 790 SAT Physics.
AP Scholar (all three 5s in World Hist. Macro Econ, and Physics Mechanics).
Recos are amazing.
Essay is very good.
ECs are good - lots of research work in rural areas on public health and agriculture. Played in televised music concerts, etc. But no strong leadership-type work.
International student, but US citizen.
