WUSTL Chance

I am a Junior at a public school in Iowa, and I recently got my ACT scores back. Washington University in St. Louis superscores the ACT and here is my new (super) score:

English: 30
Math: 29
Reading: 32
Science: 30

I got a 10 on writing

I know the ACT is not in the "match" range but I was wondering if I applied for early decision and had strong extracurriculars if I would get in.

EC's : Youth Group volunteer work, Captain of Quiz Bowl Team, Knowledge Bowl Captain, Track, Cross Country, Mock Trial (placed 8th and State Runner Up and was 2-time Outstanding Attorney), DECA (1st in State), Student Senate (treasurer but will be President next year), DARE role model (talk to kids at elementary school), National Council on Youth Leadership, NHS, Character Award, Judge/Coach Middle School Mock Trial, Banker's Trust Youth Advisory Board, Spanish National Honor Society and I plan to be a counselor at a church camp this summer.

I also have a few family members who attended WashU in the past.

Any feedback as to admissions or advice would be great, I am kind of unsure about how I will fit into the strict WashU admissions standards.

Bump Bump Bump

What does bump mean?

Bump is bring up my post - he’s helping make your post more active and therefore at the top of the list, where people will see it.

Anyway, I think you have a pretty good chance. You’ve shown leadership and involvement in your interests and have community service. You have legacy. The scores may harm you but I think you’re good.

Good luck! Wish me luck too, I love WUSTL. :)

GPA? Without that how could anyone give a good assessment? What about financial aid need?
