They will send out an email telling us when they will officially come out.

i hope its like this. Illinois sent a preemptive mail and for the 2 days that followed i kinda went crazy.

But its the crazyness that makes the decision even better. If you get rejected it gives you time to prep, if you get accepted that wait was instantly worth it.

Wait OK when will they send the email? At the exact time? Or will we get like a week in advance?

i hope not a week in advance. but according to post #83 it should be at least a few days in advance (i got my illinois email at 1am ET on the wednesday before the results so maybe then…)
also guys will the decision be on the WUSTL Pathway or will we get an email??

They will be on pathway

I know Wash U notified last year March 8, but this year they received 30,000 apps and it is possible they may need more time…

How do you know Wash U received 30,000 applications?

Hey, everyone! I applied to WashU ED and was deferred. How I found out about my decision: I didn’t get an email until a day or so AFTER the decision was posted on the pathway. I just checked the pathway constantly and looked on cc to see if anyone else got their decisions. About a week after I saw it on the pathway, I got the letter in the mail.

Good luck to everyone else awaiting their decision!!! From what I’ve heard, WashU normally lets people know March 8/9, a lot earlier than most schools. :)

One of the Dean’s told me

Well they still managed to get scholarships out on schedule, so i think they will be able to do normal admissions on time.

Wonder how they do things so fast.
logistically the best school ever…

I wonder that myself…do they rush through applications, or do they work none stop?

Really? 30000 applicants for Washu? I know washu doesnt require supplements and have late deadline… but seriously… wow.

If washU did receive 30,000 applications, the acceptance rate would be around 14%, a record low.

This not making the wait any more bearable…

Countdown, guys! Only 6 days.

I’m probably just gonna wait until April 1 to see my decision. Like every other top college

Only 5 more days!

@Juvenis you know no college actually comes out with their decision on April 1st right…?

Eh Stanford might. But lol yeah why wait?

Guyzzzz do we even have March 8 confirmed yet? But I hope it is.
