^Not trying to be rude, but that question has been asked so many times before. Please go to page 6 (like right before this) and read the MULTIPLE answers.

ZombieDante, LOTS of colleges release their decisions right on April 1st.

No, unicameral2013, March 8 has not been confirmed. No one at Wash U will EVER tell you when the decisions are being released, so do not bother calling the admissions office and asking them. You will only waste the receptionistâs time and get the same generic response.

That being said, people are speculating that March 8 will be the day because decisions have been released around that time in past years. For example, last year it was March 9, the Friday before spring break started. One could infer that the admissions officers work hard to release decisions before spring break so they can relax a little bit during the quiet week on campus (despite still having work to do). It so happens that March 8 this year is the last Friday before spring break, so itâs very likely the decisions will come out that day this year. If the 30,000 applicant number that Iâve been hearing is correct and if thatâs more applications than they usually get, they might release decisions later than usual. But theyâre pretty consistent so I doubt it. Take that as you will, cheers!

Ok⊠Yeah I read the other pages, but I just donât want to get my hopes up. I remember watching the Stanford EA page and people were devastated literally every day it went past the predicted time. But maybe (hopefully!) WUSTL is more reliable.

They fell on track with scholarship predictions so hopefully they do with RD

They usually release much earilier than April 1. They released around March 8 last year. But some times the computer server is down because so many people access their computer server simultaneously. That happens to other colleges as well. If you know that decision was released but you cannot login, that is really devastating moment. Hope it does not happen to Washu applicants this year.

@ZombieDante: really? cuz almost all their websites say april 1st

^They say âBy April 1stâ like 99.99% it is always before then.

Crap. I was supposed to have a âplay dateâ with my friend by checking all our decisions together, but he said he absolutely wonât wait if his decision comes out before April 1.

Iâve been counting down the days since late January. 4 more daysâŠ

I just know Iâm not going to be accepted though. :(

Does anyone know what time decisions are released? 5 pm?

Last year it was 6pm CST

Omg when r they gonna release da decisions? Iâm gettin rly nervous

The guess is this friday on the pathway, around 6pm.

This is so exciting~ Officially, this might my first legit college acceptance (After being rejected from Stanford and LLâd at another schoolâŠ)

^ tell me about it! I have a deferral from Harvard and no news whatsoever from any other school so the possibility of WashU on Friday is sooooo exciting and life-saving haha. Iâve been kind of slowly dying for the last couple of months as it seems EVERYONE in my school has heard from somewhere, or even knows where theyâre going

what is LLd?? this could be my first rejection tho. (accepted to Illinois and San Francisco)

LLâd: received a likely letter which is pretty much a early acceptance.

3 more daysâŠ

I have no school Friday and a half day on Thursday. But they still seem so far away!

i have my finals going onâŠ

^DANG! This early?! I donât start my finals until May.
