Hello, guys, I have to make a very complicated decision before the 8th of April.
I have got 2 offers: one for MSc in Supply Chain Management in WUSTL - Olin Business School and the second one - MSc in Global Operations in Hong Kong University in Science and Technology.

I love both USA and Hong Kong, but have never been in Missouri, so I am not sure how is St. Louis...
They are probably quite similar in rankings, but in USA I will study English better and, I am not a racist, but it is easier for me, as a european, to communicate with americans but not chinese and other asians... On the other hand, Hong Kong has a looooot of prospects and the city is vibrant. Moreover, it is twice as cheaper as Olin and Global Operations programme probably interests me more than SCCM (haven't studies such subject before at the BSc, by the way)
More than that, MSc in SCCM is quite a small programme of just 18 persons and average admission grade seems to be very high, it is 717 for GMAT while I have only 560, so I am excited to get an offer there with such uncompatitive score. And MSc in GO in HKUST is a new programme (this will be the first year) and it might be not very good at first....

Finally, I am also going to appy to U of M - Ross Business School for MSc in SCCM programme as well, so they will notify me in May, I would probably choose this University of Michigan out of these two.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions in advance.

Hey, anyone?..
Do you, guys, think that ratings for MBA could affect other Masters business programs such as I meantioned? In this case HKUST might be better… Any advises?(

I’m sorry, but I really have absolutely no knowledge about HKUST. If it is a good program (which it apparently is) that costs less than WUSTL and is in a city you really like, then that definitely sounds like a good choice. However, like I said, you definitely know more than I do about the relative strengths of the two options, so I’m not sure how helpful comment really is.

RyanMK, thank you for the reply. It’s a pity that the major part of info in the internet is concentrated on undergraduate programs and MBA, so hard to find people studies at Specialised Masters programs, such as MSc in Supply Chain Management, for example!

Go to HKUST. HK is an amazing international metropolis. St. Louis is fine, but it is not that much to see. Besides, you need a car in St. Louis if you would like to enjoy some extra-curriculum activities.

@cj3051 cars are relatively cheap in USA and it is probably possible to travel to neigbor cities, such as Kansas, Indianapolis and Chicago with it…
