WUSTL Scholarship Essays = Narratives?

Hi,

I plan on applying to a few WUSTL scholarships and was wondering what type of writing they expect or have gotten for the essay responses and short responses? Are these supposed to be approached as the average college essay i.e. narrative style or more like a concrete formal essay i.e. one you would submit in English class?

Thanks!

bump–I am wondering the same thing as well :)

Follow whichever format you would like to. Be bold.

Follow the prompt and write it like you would write a common app essay.

I agree with Can2010.

I wrote my Moog essay in more of a research paper style. All the others were narratives. Only one I got was the summer scholars program in biology and biomedical research. I’d go with narrative style.
