Hey, everyone! First, I'd like to congratulate those who got into WUSTL! I was admitted into its College of Arts and Sciences, and I'm planning on attending the Celebration Weekend. However, I was also admitted to Temple's Medical Program, just as competitive if not more, that allows you to transition from undergrad into the medical school much more easily than other schools (over 90% of people who attend this program, I believe, get into the medical school). Even though I love medicine, I'm not really sure about my future. So I was wondering if I should go to WUSTL or Temple. Thanks!

You compared apple and orange. You should compare the Temple medical program with WashU med scholar program. Anyhow, if finances come down about the same and you allow a possibility that you might change your mind about career choice, I think WashU would be a better choice overall. If you do well as a pre-med at WashU, I can’t imagine why you won’t be able to go to med school.

Thanks for the reply! I unfortunately didn’t make it to the scholar program for WUSTL, though yes, it would’ve been idea to compare that program to Temple’s. Rather, I’m trying to figure out if it’s better to transition from pre-med at WUSTL to med school than taking Temple’s program (Given the difficulty of pre-med/med school)
