<p>I got accepted by both(10 fall freshmen) n not very sure abt which one is better in terms of MArch acceptance, future job/intern opportunities and faculty strength...</p>

<p>My son considered both (in the end chose Cornell). He heard a lot of good things about WUSTL but because of schedule conflicts, he wasn’t able to visit. Ultimately he wanted east coast – so his final choice came down to Cornell and UVA.</p>
<p>He did visit UVA and really wrestled with his decision. He liked the program, the campus, the faculty, the students. What stood out was the emphasis on drawing, the quality of life balance, the beautiful and historic campus, the opportunity to draw on the landscape program. UVA was also highly regarded by the principals of the Boston architecture firm that he worked for – most of whom had degrees from top tier schools.</p>
<p>I hope you will be able to attend their admitted students events as visiting will clarify the differences. Also, assume that the financial packages would be at issue.</p>
<p>Good luck on two good choices.</p>
