<p>I'm looking to transfer into either WVU or Ohio State as an undergrade psych student.</p>
<p>I'm really into athletics so both seem like great options. I'm just having a hard time picking which one.</p>
<p>Is Morgantown or Columbus the better surrounding area? </p>

<p>I agree that OSU is waaaaay more prestigious, but money may be an issue. If OSU is out-of-state, and money is an issue, then that will be a problem since OSU will not give FA to a non-resident to meet any of those out-of-state costs.</p>

<p>OSU is a great school and the campus is huge! There are so many options in the city, though I personally have had enough of Columbus (I live really close and have explored the city many many times).</p>

<p>It’s definitely more of a college town,it revolves around the buckeyes down there…</p>
<p>Columbus is way too big to be considered a college town. Although it seems to some that everything revolves around the Buckeyes, it is not a one dimensional town.</p>
<p>Columbus is the largest city in the state. That’s big considering that the state also includes Cleveland and Cincy.</p>
<p>If you are a citizen of WV, check and see if OSU has a tuition discount or reciprocity for West Virginia residents.</p>
<p>Columbus is a great city. Lots of things to do. If the Buckeyes aren’t enough, you can always see the Bluejackets and the Columbus Crew (amazing fan base). Columbus has a great German neighborhood and a good art/music scene. It is a very modern/sanitary city.</p>
