Hi fellow CC members,

I am new to Parchment - Transcript Ordering and College Admissions Chances | Parchment Inc. and don't know whether I should use it or not.
Due to some complications on my Common Application, my counselor cannot attach my transcript to Common App and I am looking for ways to send my transcript.
Parchment does not mention which schools accept them as transcript sending tools.

Cornell says that I should send the transcript via Common Application or mail.
However, I am an international applicant, so sending documents through mail is costly.

Do you have any ideas or answers to this situation?

Thanks

You can send your transcript to common app using parchment. It’s one of the recipients listed along the top of page when you click ‘send transcript.’ You just pay once and it attaches to common app, then goes to any school you apply to that way. When you want to send to non-common app schools, you search for them on parchment. If the school accepts electronic transmission, it’s like $2.50 or so. If the school only accepts mailed transcripts, they charge around $5.00, maybe a bit less.

Thanks for the reply.
To make things easier, if I send my transcript along with the Common Application materials via mail, it’s totally fine right?

Yes you can do it all by mail.
