Xcellerator got any ideas how hard it is to transfer into Animal Science?

Animal Science is a pretty popular major here (since it is A&M). I’d say anything at least a 3.5 GPA or better with some EC’s would be competitive. They will really look at courses applicable to the major (ex. biology and chemistry) as stated here [College of Agriculture and Life Sciences](http://admissions.tamu.edu/transfer/WhyAggieland/UniquePrograms/Colleges/ag.aspx). So as long has he/she has did well in courses of his/her major, they’ll have a good chance. The degree track for Animal Science is B from [Degree Tracks](http://admissions.tamu.edu/transfer/gettingin/degreeTracks/detail.aspx).

a 4.0 student at Tarleton State. has taken all degree track B classes or is taking them now. not sure about the ECs at TSU - but was very active at High School. Works in the dairy industry. plays soccer competitivly

He/she is definitely a shoo-in then.
