<p>i dont' think so. Remember that CoF is for the guys at the embassy, so they only want to see you have enough money to pay for what you have to pay, and that is the difference between what the total cost are and what the univ pays.</p>
<p>EDIT: i think this is the case. Besides, sponsor sounds like someone local who helps you with your education. The space for the amount the univ pays should be on the first page or nowhere.</p>
<p>Yeah - as Princeton isn't actually giving you the money, merely charging you that much less every year, I don't think it counts as a source of funding. Instaed you have to prove you can pay 45,000 - aid.</p>
<p>Edit: Unless they are actually giving you the money as a grant (to cover living and travel costs that aren't merely taken off your bill), in which case it is a source of funding.</p>
<p>yeah but the COFs I got from other colleges I was accepted by had that column filled with how much aid they were giving me so I am really lost here :confused:</p>
