What did you do, if anything, to get a better score?

I just solved as many practice tests as I could. At first, you do not see the result, but if you keep doing it for a month or so, you will see the definite improvement!!! It works!!!! Just be patient, my friend!!!!!!!

congratulations m8!

Why do i care?!! JP
Good job!
now give me tips cuz my CR sucks too! : ]

wow, I never heard of anyone doing that well on CR with just doing practice tests over and over again. Good job.

Wow, congrats. The most I ever went up was 180 total, split between the sections.

Seriously - that's an amazing increase -- Congrats! Hope that everything else is going as smoothly as SATs are for ya

yea just do more practice questions, that's the way to go. I was getting 570s before I practiced, and ended up getting 770 in CR haha.

by the way, Congrats!! Good to see hard work paying off!

hate to hijack but im quite happy too!! i went from a 1360/1990 (best single test score) to a 1470/2180 on the oct test!!!

what is the safety zone for Cornell?

I had a similar experience; after a few practice tests I just "got" CR, and improved from a 700 to a 770. But yeah, congratulations, now you can shift your attention towards things that actually matter.

There's no well-defined safety zone for Cornell, but 700s are nice.

Similar increase here: Went from 1380 (680 R, 700 M) to a 1590 ( 790 R, 800M). Honestly, i got really lucky and my guesses were just on. CALS ED!!!
