<p>Nothing that can’t be automated or off-shored away in a hurry… Little challenge in the job itself, likely to involve dealing with irate customers, nervous health care honchos, and even more nervous insurance companies, and the like.</p>
<p>Health care is definitely a “growth area” which is probably why this is #1. Whether you actually need a undergraduate degree in health care administration to get a job as a health care administrator is questionable (and for the record, it’s a pretty darn challenging job). I work for an HMO. A huge number of senior managers are former RNs, PTs or MDs. I personally think a clinical background combined with a straight business administration degree would be far more valuable.</p>
