Yahoo messenger

Alright, thanks to gianievve I finally broke down and got this thing. I usually use MSN but you guys all seem to love yahoo :p

Yahoo ID : Schwaby51

Add me and don't leave me hanging. And remember that I'm 6 hours ahead of EST, so when its 7 PM over there, its 1 AM where I'm at.

Look forward to chatting with you guys.

Yay!
I think kebree and I may have to add Gianievve to our Yahoo! Recruitment Task Force (YRTF). Mmm...

definately phil - i've got what it takes ;)

great schwabs (:p) good times ahead!!

yeah yahoo messenger is definetely superior

especially the drawing pad thingy.

and the flirties (very cute audibles)

Haha...I hadn't been using the "flirties" (I'm more the "insult" type ;) ). My constant stream of typos pretty much keeps all of my attention on the typing itself. Not that it helps. At all.

Bravo for the "edit" feature on CC...

can u talk to yahoo messenger ppl via AIM? i dont see why we cant have a unifying messenger service that allows us to talk to each other.....all the time....nonstop...and without interruption :D

Is this what ur looking for?

http://www.trillian.cc/

Trillain combines AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC and their features into one handy dandy im app

plus it looks nice

but as far as i know, it still doesn't allow you to talk to aim ppl using a yahoo id. you gotta have an aim id to talk to aim ppl.... though it IS a lot easier to keep just one program running. But it's slow.

eltiguere - thanks for the link. how do you pronounce your name?

Ah but I've been using AIM since forever and a half...
someone convince me why Yahoo is so great.

http://messenger.yahoo.com/

Try it for yourself ;)

I like yahoo coz it lets you send offliners. You can doodle. And play literati, which is like scrabble. And you can actually talk while you're "invisible", unlike MSN. And AIM's interface, well, plain sucks.

Because all my friends use yahoo and there's no way I'm going to get them ALL to use AIM or MSN or whatever.

Yea so I guess I'm stuck with AIM since most of my friends use it and I can't get them to switch to Yahoo...

AIM is like rubbish compared to Yahoo Messenger. It took me 6 months to convince myself it was worth the effort to sign-up for AIM, and 1 hour after I had downloaded it to figure out it wasn't worth it :p
Zant - get Yahoo Messenger. It's the program to have. Who doesn't have YM? You have no idea what you're missing!

Yes. Unless the other pool of friends gets you to switch to Yahoo.

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ u can add yahoo, msn, aim, icq,

gaim is so weird though! maybe i wasn't using it correctly, but it made everything really small and overlapped buddy lists so you have repeats.

it works for me fine - i like it more than aim

ah just get the real thing
